TheatreArt, my mask

What forces my passion for designing to look for more depth in the society which surrounds us? As a designer the individual has been the centre point of my art work over the past decades. The movement of acting, the space of the lines, the experiencing of music and the seduction of  expression. Where else than in the world of the Theatre. Did I enter the surfaces of disguise, am I consciously or unconsciously looking for the layers of the group in the individual? Persona! Allow me to describe my process to make you understand my TheatreArt.

Experiences teach us the loss of open-mindedness. I do not only wish to ask questions but also answer them. In an explosive world of creativity the creation will increase as time goes by. My thoughts will be slowed down by the youth in and around me. Let it happen to literary put on layers of youth. Is emotion the cause of own experience? Learning to think different. Do not try to become someone else as a performer, but allow some one to become part of yourself. Dealing differently with my senses changes my foundation and takes care of renewal. Remaining myself by consciously changing my own layers. Putting the compassion on canvas and in my life.

The interpretation of lines becoming basic forms that together form a setting for the light, colour and movement. The dynamics in the work is also obtained by the speed with which lines and colour areas are placed, the architectural, angular forms create an image of brightness and strength. The colours have their own character and communicate with each other by their own willfulness. The playfulness of the colours frisky and pure by simplicity, although we do not observe the real colour. Colours evolve out of the brain and that is the same way in which a work of art originates. Out of primary instinct I use colours as pure as possible and underlying layers are made visible by using basic forms, rhythms and contrasts to emphasize the painting process. The actual experience in an imaginary world.

The purpose of the end result evolving out of exploring and expanding limits is to continue the reproduction. Something extraordinary that can be contained in a composition, in a concept, a tone, a sound, a colour or description, in an observation. It is repeated on purpose. Often surprisingly expressed in another way I intended. The Art of the Theatre.
